Every year, on the 3rd of May we commemorate the almost 7.000 victims of the bombing in the bay of Lübeck that happened on the 3rd of May 1945. Unfortunately, due to the Covid 19 pandemic there is no possibility to have a commemoration with an audience. Only a silent commemoration will take place.
The city of Neustadt will livestream the commemoration on the 3rd of may at 10 AM. No guests are permitted around the “Ehrenfriedhof” during the silent commemoration. You can follow the commemoration here.
